Window Cabinet, Table and Night Stand

Hello Everyone!  How was your weekend?  The store manager called Saturday morning and told me that I need to bring more inventory for my booth.  She said I had sold quite a few things on Friday.  I spent most of my weekend running here, there and everywhere looking for treasures for my booth.

When I left on Thursday, this is what my booth looked like.

Charlie and I recently made the window cabinet above and the table below.

Today, when I took a few things that I had found/done over the weekend, this is what my booth looked like.

I did sell a lot of things!  The window cabinet and the table that Charlie and I made sold and the black night stand below sold as well.

009

I did find another little night stand over the weekend. It will be getting a make-over just like this one and it too will be placed right in front of that black shutter door.

When I left there today, this is what my booth looked like.

005

Not sure if the bench is still there.  As I was leaving there today,  someone was already inquiring about it.

This weekend I was lucky enough to find the enamel top table below.   I did absolutely nothing to it but give it a good cleaning.   I love those kinds of transformations!

014

If I’m MIA for a little while know that I am busy in my garage working on these few things that I found over the weekend for my booth.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Our Son and an Assembly Line

Hello Everyone.  I’m still here!  There has been so much going on around here since Easter.  I don’t believe that I shared with you that our son, Jordan was just recently deployed back to Afghanistan.  We are told that his deployment will more than likely be only nine months this time around as opposed to a year on his last tour.   It will be the longest nine months!

And then right after Easter, our whole immediate family got sick with that nasty flu bug that has been going around.  I am just starting to feel better.  Yesterday, was the first day in almost two weeks that I felt like I had my energy back.

Before I got sick and became a couch potato,  I had an assembly line in the garage of furniture pieces waiting for a make-over.  A little night stand,

002

a bench,

003

where the top lifts for storage,

005

a foot stool and a drop leaf table.

006

I did finish my assembly line of make-overs and the night stand is already in my booth.

009

Because black is a big seller for me, I painted all the make-overs black.

010

I'll share the other make-overs in another post.

My heart is saddened with the tragedies that our country is going through right now. I will continue to pray for all those that are suffering and also for the safe return of our troops.

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

The Shutter Door and Three Tables

A couple of weeks ago, I posted about three sets of shutter doors that I found at the Restore and how I transformed one of them. You can read about it here.   The shutter door that I transformed in that post has not sold yet at my booth but every table that I placed in front of it has!   The table below sold the very same day that I set this display up.

003

I purchased the table below at an auction.  It was originally painted blue.

002

I painted the legs of the table black and the top of the table white. I applied a stencil to the top and bottom of the table.

This table sold within a few days of placing it in front of the shutter door.

And then, there is this table that I placed in front of the shutter door on Friday……

013

……it has sold as well!  I’m running out of little tables to place in front of the shutter door.  So today, I brought the drop leaf table that I had in my booth back home so that I can re-paint it.

023

Guess what color I’m painting it?

If you guessed black you are absolutely right!  Anything black is by far my best seller!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.  I know we sure did.
