Drum Pedestal Table

Hello Everyone!  Just a quick post to show you a drum pedestal table that I finished today because it’s headed to my booth tomorrow.

018

I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint (ASCP) and her waxes (clear and dark).  For the base of the table, I used Old Ochre and I used Graphite on the top.

022

This is what it looked like before.

001

I think it turned out beautiful!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  It’s suppose to be beautiful!

Repurposing An Old Door

Hello Everyone!  I was lucky enough to find two old doors and I repurposed one of them into this.

003

With Charlie’s help, we made a little table and attached it using shelving brackets and liquid nails.  We also, added a shelf and crown molding to the top of the door.

003

Before we added the table, crown molding and the shelf to the door, I painted everything with Miss Mustard Seed (Linen) Milk Paint and used her wax on it as well.

001

As you can see, I have placed it in my booth for sale.  Now I need to decide what I’m going to do with the other door I have.

Hopefully, later in the week I’ll be back to share with you some more fall things I made for my booth!

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful week and enjoy this gorgeous weather we are having.

Potato/Onion Cabinet

   Hello Everyone!

A week ago, I purchased a potato/onion cabinet at a yard sale.  The other day I started painting it (below).

007

And after I finished painting, waxing, stenciling and……

003

   …..and adding a glass knob,

004

I got to thinking and wondering what would that lady that I purchased this potato/onion cabinet think of it now!

006

I guess I will never know!

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Cedar Plank Pumpkins

Hello Everyone!  I LOVE the change of all seasons.  Now that fall is fast approaching, I have been working like crazy making, creating, and fluffing fall things for my booth.

004

A few weeks ago, I made two sets of cedar plank pumpkins.  One in orange and the other in white.   The orange set sold the same day I placed it in my booth.  I have it on my “List of Things to Do” to make at least a couple more in orange because I want one for my front porch!

003

I also made some burlap pumpkin bags and…..

004

…..and a few fall wreaths.

014

This is what my booth looked like a week ago.

005

Since I haven’t been there in a week, I’m not sure what to expect when I get there.  I usually try to go at least twice a week to fluff it and see what I need to work on.  I’m headed over there today to add some  new things!

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Happy Happy

Hello Everyone!  It’s been awhile since my last post.  The last two months have been a whirlwind of activities all of which have been one happy event after another.  One of the happy events that Charlie and I attended was a graduation ceremony for our son-in-law.  After an intense eighteen months of training, he is officially a Green Beret now!

Now that things seem to be slowing down,  I’m hoping to get back on track.  My son who is in Afghanistan has mentioned that he has missed my blog postings.  If my little old blog makes him happy, than I need to get back on track.

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope to have a blog post up tomorrow.  I have a lot to share!
