Fall Dining

No matter the season,  I love decorating my dining room.  It’s the first room you see when you enter my home whether it’s through the front door or kitchen door.

The dining room table is set for fall and ready for all to see.

At each place setting, I used white dishes.  I layered each white plate with a red charger and a red dessert plate.   I placed a  white linen monogrammed napkin between the white and red dessert plate.

My parents’ buffet is completely transformed and if I must say so,  I think it  looks nice in my dining room.   To see the before you can go here.

I have a few fall accessories on the buffet.  The cloche  has white pumpkins and a fall floral pick.

Another little pumpkin topiary I made.

Now that you’ve seen my dining room by day, take a look at night.

I purchased the candle goblets last year at Tuesday Mornings.

I love having my parents’ buffet.  Now that it is  part of my dining room I love it even more.

Now my dining room has the feel of autumn and that feeling is working its way through my home.

  6. Gail, I know that I don't have to tell you how breathtakingly beautiful this is, and that's a good thing because my jaw is still hanging down and talking is coming rather difficult. The server is marvelous. Your mother would have loved it -- I just know it. I bet she thought you were the most talented person ever, and mother always knows best. I must say I agree with her. This is outstanding! Congratulations. You must enter this in something so that you can win a prize. this is certainly prize-worthy!

  8. Without a doubt, this is one of my favorites this week. I think the use of the red and white against your awesome black table is just beautiful. The monogrammed napkins cascading off are a favorite part as are the pumpkins seated in the little leaf.

A great table! (Like that sideboard makeover too!)

  20. Gail,
What a beautiful table! I'm new at blogging and just came across your blog. I'll be following and checking out your rooms since I'm working on an interior design career. Any tips you have on how to get started would be greatly appreciated.
I used to live in Baltimore and miss the bay, ocean and of course the crabs :)
