A Wintery Mantel Shelf

In the family room, I’ve added a little winter to my mantel shelf .

The cedar garland and tree were purchased after Christmas at Michaels at 75% off.    I love how the cedar garland and tree have a sparkle…almost like little ice chips.

I made the S N O W letters using my Cricut.    I used silver glitter and hot glued each letter to a snowflake.

Well I’m done winterizing my home and before we know it spring will be here.  Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoyed.

  4. Hi Gail,
You did a lovely job on your mantel, somehow it doesn't look Christmas-y, just Winter-ish. It's really great, you have a really great ideas and nice style.
Thank you so much for your really sweet comment today. I should have passed the award on to you, would you accept it? If so I will, it's just that the last time I was given an award I passed it on to several gals and they all came back and told me that they didn't accept awards any longer. That's why this time I did what I did.
    Hugs, Cindy

  8. Nice winter mantel, Gail. I want the snow here to go away and looking at your snow spelled out reminds me that it is still here. I don't know how people live with this stuff. Thanks for joining the party.

Where did you buy your mantel shelf? I have been looking for something different than the typical picture ledges seen everywhere.
