Christmas Greetings Vignette

Hello!  I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I know we sure did.   We had all our children home this Thanksgiving and for that we felt so very blessed.   We had a house full since last Wednesday with the last of them leaving yesterday and let me tell you I was wore out when they left!  I have a little over three weeks before they ALL will be back for Christmas.

I did most of my Christmas decorating before Thanksgiving and I still have a few things left to do.  The kitchen is done and I thought I would start sharing Christmas in the kitchen first.   This Christmas vignette is on top of the trashcan cabinet.

Most of you have seen all the items I have used in this vignette.   The only item I think you may not have seen is the wire basket.  I purchased that a few weeks ago at Goodwill and I have forgotten how much I paid for it.

The thrift store picture frame turned chalkboard gets a new message for Christmas as well.

I’m still loving my trashcan cabinet make-over.  I had fun decorating it for fall and I have had just as much fun decorating for Christmas.

As always, thanks for stopping by and your sweet comments.  They are always appreciated!

  1. Gail,

This is so pretty! Can't wait for more!

Love that your trash can has it's own cabinet. We have a trash compactor I'd love to do something like this with, as I can't do it in my cabinets now. Great ideas, great vignette!

    Thank you for sharing!
    Blessings,
    Donna

  6. I don't blame you for loving it, Gail, it was a wonderful transformation. The chalkboard looks so good above it, too. How nice for you to have all your kids home for the holidays. I know you are exhausted but it is a good exhausted! : ) My son came for Thanksgiving (and will be back for Christmas) so I had my two children with me for Thanksgiving, too. I was very thankful!
