We’re almost done!
The bead board wall paper has been hung and the walls painted.
The ceramic tile floor has been installed.
The only thing left to do is install the pedestal sink. If all goes well, that should be done tomorrow.
And the biggest help of all was from my grandson. He worked so hard helping Grandma make a sign for the powder room. I had him, just him, for two days because he had been sick. Sometimes it’s nice having that one on one.
He did a really good job painting the sign below. But I enjoyed the time we spent together the most and his little touch added an extra bit of love to the powder room.
As always, thanks for your visit and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Gail
Looks great, Gail and I love the sign.
ReplyDeleteLove the wall color you chose, Gail! The sign is great! Every time you look at it you will be reminded of the time you spent with your grandson making it.

ReplyDeleteLove the fresh look...color, your bead board wallpaper, and the sign!
ReplyDeleteLove the sign. Did you add crown molding to the top.
ReplyDeleteIt's all coming together.
How precious! I just returned from spending a week with my little ones. We are so blessed to have the time with them, Gail. I thank God each time I have them. And, you're right, one on one time is so extra special for both of you. I kept wee one home with me on Friday. She grabbed her laptop, put it next to mine on the kitchen table, and we sat there for most of the day on our computers, side by side! (Well, inbetween reading a book, drawing, cookies and milk - you know!)
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing your finished powder room!
Blessings,
Donna
Looking good, Gail. Can't wait to see the pics of it all finished. You were lucky having such a professional helper. I hope he is all better now.

ReplyDeleteGail, this is wonderful and I love the sign and for the life of me can never spell apocathecary properly. Joe and I can never get a room redone as we are so easily distracted. I am glad you get rooms done. Have a blessed Sunday. Olive
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous, Gail ... love that you took the beadboard up so high, and the sign is a wonderful touch, too! What a cute little helper.
