Hello Everyone! I’m a copy cat too! When Kathy @ Creative Home Expressions and Debbie @ Debbiedoo’s added a wooden appliqué to the front of their cabinet drawer, I knew that I was going to copy them. Only I didn’t add it to my cabinets, I added it to the front of a table drawer in the kitchen.
This is what it looked like before adding the appliqué.
It’s amazing that something so little can make a big difference.
Thanks Kathy and Debbie for the inspiration on this one!
Charlie and I will be visiting our son this weekend and our plans are to attend some flea markets and antique shops. I just hope our SUV is big enough for my wish list of things to be on the look out for. Hopefully, we won’t have to rent a U-Haul……just kidding!
As always thanks for your visit and hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Gail

That looks fantastic, Gail! I love it! Thanks so much for the shout out. It's amazing how such a simple thing can transform a piece {or a cabinet front}. : ) With the legs and the apron on your piece, it suits it perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to do this too. I love the way it dresses your piece up even more, and I really REALLY love the vignette on the top.
