Outdated Entertainment Center

A little over a month ago, I purchased this outdated entertainment center at a thrift store.

Up until this past weekend, it had been sitting in the garage waiting for a make-over.  Because of the cold weather, I brought it inside the house to paint.

At first, I was undecided what color to paint it.  Since black is selling for me right now at my booth, I decided I would paint it black.

I first painted the whole piece with gray chalk paint and then applied black chalk paint.  In some of the areas, I purposely left some of the gray showing to give it that worn look.

Using the same gray chalk paint, I stenciled a design on the front doors.

I used the same hardware that was on it.  I updated it with black spray paint and some silver rub and buff.

With Charlie’s help, I replaced the back with a piece of bead board and added a shelf.  The inside was also painted gray.

Now all I have to do is tag it and take it to my booth.

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful week.
