Adding Little Touches of Spring

I have been so busy with my booth lately that I have not even taken the time to decorate my home this year for Easter.  However, yesterday I spent the whole day cleaning and adding touches of Spring here and there.

I love tulips and nothing says Spring more to me than tulips.

I also changed a few things on the entry way table.

003

I added a birdcage where I placed faux greens and an old metal chippy bird.

At the front door, I added faux dogwood blossoms to my Mom’s old rain boots.

015

I love that I have my Mom’s old rain boots……

……and my Dad’s old straw hat.

I miss them so much!

Easter is a time for sharing Blessings and I want to thank you for the Blessings of our friendship.

Happy Easter!

Gail

  2. Sweet vignettes, Gail! I love the birdcage and that little bee skep, too! Your Mom's boots and your Dad's hat make for a lovely and meaningful vignette. I hope to be able to soon say I've been so busy with my booth. : ) The next couple of days are going to be crazy for me {and into next week, too, I'm sure} just getting set up and figuring things out.

  7. We are slowly starting to lose the snow, places are still at least a foot high, makes it so hard to believe it's Spring! Your Spring touches look amazing and how lucky you are to have those special treasures from your folks. My Dad's been gone almost 5 years now and I just recently lost my Mom, I love that you are showing and using those treasures in your home, they are so meaningful! Hopefully Spring will hit this part of Minnesota soon!
    Happy Easter Gail!
