Christmas Monogram Wreath

I had the idea for this wreath because I wanted to add  some sparkle to a mirror that is in my entry foyer.  I started by purchasing a  wreath and garland at Michael’s.

I attached the garland to the wreath with floral wire.  I used my Cricut to make a “F” stencil and traced it on a piece of luan board.  Then I cut out the “F” using my skrol saw.

I painted the “F” with satin white Rust-oleum spray paint.

It is painted and ready for the wire, mod podge and glitter.

I attached floral wire to the back of the “F” so I could attach it to my wreath.

002

I covered the “F” with Mod Podge and added silver glitter to give the “F” sparkle.

And here it is all sparkly that adds the bling I was looking for.

It’s beautiful at night!

I also made the  pillow in the chair.   I used white felt and snowflake sheer material to make a pillow cover for an old pillow I had.  I made a bow and tied it around the pillow.    That also adds the sparkle that I was looking for in the entry way.

Hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful day.

Gail

  9. Oooh, I love the F. I like that it is off-set on the wreath. And yes, it looks especially beautiful at night. Very peaceful and welcoming.

I just purchased a table saw myself, so I'm excited to see all the cool things you can do with one.

  11. Looks wonderful in the setting you put it. Sparkle always looks beautiful at light with lights or candlelite.
