Christmas Cloches

Today I’m joining Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for her Christmas Cloche Party.  Here are a few of the cloches that I have scattered throughout my home.

In my dining room this cloche is sitting on  my buffet.

Keeping with the color scheme on the buffet, I used a silver finial with pine, holly leaves and added two silver jingle bells.

In the kitchen I have a lantern sitting on the countertop.     In front of the lantern I placed a wicker basket that has faux pine and goodies in it.  I tied a burlap bow on the handle.

007

I filled the inside of the lantern with a lighted strand of woven balls, greens, pinecones and berries.

002

On the shelf in the kitchen is my bird cage.

I placed greens with little red berries in it and added a candle.

On the entryway table in the kitchen, I have another cloche.  I made this one.

016

Keeping it simple,  I just added pine and three red jingle bells.

The apron you see hanging is another sentimental keepsake of my Mom’s.  It was her Christmas apron that she wore many times on Christmas Eve.

Thanks for stopping by and my blessings to you and your family this Christmas season.

  18. Hello dear Gail,
I'm so glad you came back to say hello, now I will mark your blog and be back again and again. I love all of your cloches, they are beautiful, you make gorgeous vignettes out of everything. After looking through several posts I can see that you are a talented decorator. I am just a "wannabe" decorator.
I see your son Jordan is in Afghanistan. My nephew Brian Eastham is a Chaplain in the US Military, not sure where in Afghanistan he is stationed, though.
    Love and hugs, Cindy
