Welcome to my Kitchen

I’m so excited to share my kitchen with you today.  Now that I’m done  painting this and tweaking that, I’ll give you a little tour.  As you enter from the kitchen door, you’ll see the entryway wall.

036

Our kitchen and family room is one open space.

042

The kitchen table with my most recent purchase of cane back chairs.

006

I covered the seats of four of the six kitchen chairs with a neutral color fabric.   I made little pillows for two of the chairs with left-over fabric from the arm chairs.  I tied a burlap bow around each one.

019

I created a little seating area behind the sofa with the two arm chairs.

003

I also made two little throw pillows for the arm chairs.   I love the pillow fabric.  My original thought was to cover the chair seats with the same pillow fabric, but I decided against it.  I thought it might be too much so I covered them with a solid color.

010

The tabletop vignette has a little touch of fall.

005

You’ve seen this space many times.  This area changes a lot throughout the seasons.

027

Last but not least my trash can cabinet area.

021

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed your little tour of my kitchen.

Gail

  16. Gail~ love your kitchen! I like the way your DIY chalk paint table turned out and I love that trash can...
but today, most of all, I like the two chairs backed up to the family sitting area. That looks so 'pulled together' and quaint.

So pretty. you always do a lovely job.

  17. Gail thank you so much for your comments on my blog. I went directly to Cindy's Whimsical...and read her blog directions and fixed my sidebars. I just didn't know how to do it. It was so easy. Thanks for suggesting this to me....sometimes when bloggers don't do things it is simply because they don't know how. I've learned so much because of blogging....it forces you to get better on the computer! Hahaha
    Thank you so much.
    blessings,
    Debbie
