Restore Round Table Gets Another Makeover

I’m on a roll!  I’ve been busy around here trying to lighten things up. One of the things I’ve done was change the ottoman in the living room into a round table again.  Originally, the ottoman was a round table that I purchased at Habitat for Humanity Restore.  You can read all about how I transformed the table into this ottoman here.   018

I removed the fabric, trim and skirting.

Next, I removed the few remaining staples, sanded the top and repainted it to look like this.

I used my Cricut to make a stencil for the Roman Numerals.

On top of my table, I placed three little cloches that I have picked up here and there.   I added three little pumpkins, that I purchased over the weekend from one of our  local farmer markets, under each cloche .

I really like how it turned out.  Such a little change seems to have really opened the space up.

As always, thanks for stopping by and I’m looking forward to reading your comments about the transformation of the round table once again.

  12. Oh my word, your table turned out fabulous . What a great idea. I thought it was wonderful as an ottoman, but I totally think the new painted clock face is fantastic. You are right, it really does open the room up. Of course I am crazy about the cloches and the pumpkins are just perfect. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
