The Little Red Table

Hello Everyone!  I can’t believe I never posted this.  I discovered it today still sitting in my “draft folder”.  Oh well, better late then never.   Several months ago I bought the little table (below) at the antique mall that I have a booth in.

When I bought it, it didn’t look like that.  I painted the base and the legs of the table with Miss Mustard Seed’s (MMS’s) Tricycle Milk Paint.  Then I stenciled the front and the sides.  Instead of waxing it, I used MMS’s Hemp Oil on the entire table.

My first thought when I bought it, was that I was going to keep it for myself.  I tried several different places in my home and I just couldn’t find a place for it.  Sad to say, I took it to my booth and it did sell quickly!   It’s probably a good thing that it sold because I would have brought it back home and would still be trying to find a place for it!

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Gail

  1. That is really cute, Gail. I can see why it sold so quickly. I have done that too-thought a piece was perfect and then couldn't find a home for it in my house. xo Diana
