Today was a good trash to treasure day for me. I went to a couple of thrift stores and found a few fun things. But for now, I’m only going to show you what I made with one of my finds and that's the large oval frame for $7.
A picture frame chalkboard!
I used brown chalkboard paint and covered the mat that was inside the frame with burlap.
I had every thing on hand to make this so the whole project only cost me $7.
Don’t you just love projects like this when you have everything on hand and it only takes an hour to make? I know I do!

ReplyDeleteTHat looks beautiful! I love the look of burlap, but when you pair it with something a little fancier, like a round decorator's frame... It just takes it to a whole new level! I love how cozy that nook looks with the lamp giving off a little glow.
