I’m so excited about my $10 chandelier purchase at the Habitat for Humanity Restore! It was exactly what I was looking for the kitchen BUT the brass had to go.
I hung it from a tree, spray painted it and then decided to hand paint certain areas. Take a look at what it looks like now hanging in my kitchen.
I used Rust-oleum Espresso Brown gloss spray paint. For the hand painted areas I used Worn Penny Metallic Elegant Finish paint. I love this paint! You can get it at Michael’s for $1.89 a bottle. It comes in several different finishes.
What a difference wouldn’t you say? I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out!
It’s been cloudy and rainy the whole weekend, so as soon as we have a sunny day I will take more pictures of my kitchen.
As always, thanks for stopping by and I’m looking forward to hearing what you think of my $10 chandelier!
Gail
