Our weekend weather was absolutely gorgeous! We spent most of our time outside doing some much needed yard work. I did manage to squeeze in a couple of little projects and one was a little Roo pumpkin.
I Mod Podged a rooster picture, that I found on-line, to the front of a crackled pumpkin that I made last year.
I have my little roo pumpkin nestled inside a bird’s nest that had fallen from one of our trees.
And then I started sanding a cedar chest that has been in our garage for over a year. We purchased it at an auction for our daughter who has wanted one. She has been patiently waiting for her father to refinish her cedar chest! I decided if it was going to get done any time soon, I had better do it. Her father didn’t protest either.
My plans are to have it done by today! We’ll see though, I have all three of my grandsons today and this evening Charlie and I are going to a hockey game…..GO CAPS!
As always thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.
Gail

ReplyDeletelove that idea!
ReplyDeleteThat is simply adorable Gail!
ReplyDeleteHello dear Gail,
ReplyDeleteDid you finish the cedar chest? You do stay busy with projects, I need to get out of my funk and get busy! Good to hear that you go to Hockey games, although I don't, Hockey is a BIG thing in Canada and my city of Winnipeg just got it's national league Hockey team back, the JETS! They lost this weekend 5 - 1, to the Montreal Canadiens unfortunately, but they will get better. Winnipeg is a huge Hockey town. The Season tickets went on sale and within a few minutes they were sold out! That tells you something, eh?
I hope you had a wonderful day,
Love and hugs, Cindy
I am in love! What type of paper did you use for this project? A roo pumpkin would be perfect for in our dining room. Love it!!
