Hello Everyone! How was your weekend? The store manager called Saturday morning and told me that I need to bring more inventory for my booth. She said I had sold quite a few things on Friday. I spent most of my weekend running here, there and everywhere looking for treasures for my booth.
When I left on Thursday, this is what my booth looked like.
Charlie and I recently made the window cabinet above and the table below.
Today, when I took a few things that I had found/done over the weekend, this is what my booth looked like.
I did sell a lot of things! The window cabinet and the table that Charlie and I made sold and the black night stand below sold as well.
I did find another little night stand over the weekend. It will be getting a make-over just like this one and it too will be placed right in front of that black shutter door.
When I left there today, this is what my booth looked like.
Not sure if the bench is still there. As I was leaving there today, someone was already inquiring about it.
This weekend I was lucky enough to find the enamel top table below. I did absolutely nothing to it but give it a good cleaning. I love those kinds of transformations!
If I’m MIA for a little while know that I am busy in my garage working on these few things that I found over the weekend for my booth.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful week.
Gail

Gail you have so many things in your booth that I just love. Do you think there are people that shop Antique malls that will never go into a thrift store? I purchased a copper kettle similar to the two you have for $2.00 at Goodwill. I'm just curious if I could get make a profit on it and the other things I find if I put them in a Antique store.
ReplyDeleteYou are certainly an inspiration!! It is wonderful to read how well you are doing.
Gail,
ReplyDeleteHow AWESOME!!! It's so nice to have things sell fast...but it sure keeps you on your toes. I am sure that great looking bench will go FAST too! Thanks for sharing at my party...now I am back to painting too.
Blessings,
Linda
LOL! You know you're doing good, Gail, when the manager calls you to say you need more stuff for your booth! I'm so glad your booth is such a success. That shutter is definitely good luck for whatever you put in front of it. Love the window cabinet and the table you and hubby made. The mall I'm in sends a sales report every night {between 9:30 and 10}, which helps me know if I've had sales for the day and what sold. A couple of framed items sold last week and I'll need to get the wall filled up again this week.
ReplyDeleteGail I am happy your business is going so well. You have a beautiful booth.
ReplyDeleteI think it's awesome your booth is doing so well. I know I'd but quite a few of your treasures myself.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous stuff!!! I'm not surprised you're doing well. Congrats!!!
ReplyDeleteWow you are selling like crazy! You may need to open your own shop! Your booth looks great!

The way stuff flies out of your booth makes me think you are getting quite the following. That and the fact you have cute stuff, and my guess is you price it right too.

ReplyDeleteGreat space, Gail. I wish you were in our store. I love your color scheme. Congratulations on all your wonderful sales. I can tell how hard you work on your space.
ReplyDeleteGail your space would be my favorite at our local antique mall. Ya know how you always have a favorite booth? Yours would be mine if it were here.
ReplyDeleteWow! I bet the one who bought the window cabinet loves its great design! Too bad I was a little late for this one, this could’ve been in my new living room. Anyway, you’ve got great pieces in your shop and I bet your customers are happily shopping at your place. I hope I can visit your shop one time and grab any of those adorable things. :)
