This little baby has done wonders today. I’ve primed my kitchen cabinets and let me tell you it has brightened up the kitchen just with primer paint.
Below is a picture of the kitchen before.
Now a picture of the kitchen with primer. But before you look, please pardon my messy cabinets on the inside. I’ll clean them before I put the doors back on.
We’re just moving right along with this kitchen remodel. We’ve selected and have ordered our ceramic tile for the kitchen floor. It should be in next Tuesday. Below is a picture of the tile we’ve chosen.
We haven’t made a final decision on the counter top just yet. Not sure if we’re going with granite or quartz. Will probably make a decision on that in the next week or so.
You know what I’ll be doing tomorrow…….
Painting!
Have a wonderful day.
Gail

Gail,
ReplyDeleteMy husband is priming our kitchen cabinets as I write this! We are in the same boat. We are doing an unplanned kitchen remodel because of our pipes busting a few weeks ago. Now I am excited about it because I'm getting new cabinets, dishwasher, window and cabinet lighting!
I'll be posting pictures of the progress soon.
Blessings,
Traci
WOW! It sure does look great! I hope to paint my kitchen cabinets someday. I love the idea of white cabinets! Good luck with your painting tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteIt's all coming along great!
ReplyDeleteNancy
WOW!
ReplyDeleteWe are just finishing up our kitchen remodel with white cabinets too!
I cant wait to see your redo!
Ugh, I remember all the coats I had to do... How tiring!! Good luck- This project will look so good!! I really like the crown moulding your hubby added!
ReplyDeleteoh Gail, it looks WONDERFUL! I've been dreaming of painting my kitchen cabinets one day. But I'm a little afraid (of the hardwork)...can't wait to see how your kitchen turns out!
ReplyDeleteThe project is really coming along. I'm liking the white cabinets and your tile floor selection. Don't worry about cleaning out the cabinets...just put the doors back on and we'll never know!!!
ReplyDeleteI love watching the progress.
Jane
Have you gotten all the primer off of your hands yet????
ReplyDeleteIt really has lightened up the kitchen.
Happy painting tomorrow!
Rhonda
Your kitchen looks great! You are right, even just the primer really lightens things up! I would love to paint my cabinets. However, our counter tops are a dark green (compliments of the previous owners). So it would look all wrong.
ReplyDeleteSincerely ~ Tricia Anne
Ps. I was curious if you would ever create and sell a stencil, from your Cricut?! :o)
Oh wow! This is exciting! What a big and fun project. It's looking good too.
ReplyDeleteWhat color are you going to paint the cabinets?
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen is going to look so good! My husband and I painted our cabinets this summer and love the change. Have fun! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the addition of crown molding on the cabinets.
ReplyDeleteI never tire of seeing white painted kitchen cabinets. They make me so happy. Mine are white too :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE cabinet makeovers!!
ReplyDeletem ^..^
You're right, even the primer makes a big difference! It's going to be so bright and gorgeous, I can't wait too see the finished project! Could you hurry? :)
ReplyDeleteit looks great already, even with just the primer on the cabinets. I like the tile you picked out too, good luck with the rest of your remodel!
ReplyDeleteI am so in the need of doing this in my kitchen. My project is a bit different and needs carpentry to make the door look more country instead of contemporary. Because I don't do carpentry and need my hubby for that part, I'm on hold. Yours photo change is amazing. I hope you have many days of enjoyment in your new surroundings! Great job. I am going to definitely go click your "Follow" button to come back more often. Please stop by and browse; should you like what you see, be sure to click "Follow" so that we can share our creative juices often.
ReplyDeleteThey do look brighter and more cheerful already! I love the trim you added to the top and your floor tile looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteGail, I'm following this so very closely. I am gathering up all my strength and courage to attack those cabinets. But before I do, I think I'll sit back and watch you. Keep em coming!
ReplyDeletei love kitchen cabinets...........
ReplyDeleteGail you have a lot of great befores and afters! I love your dining room makeover and I am so waiting to see your kitchen!!!
ReplyDeleteGail~looking good in your kitchen...can't wait to see it after it's all done...looove the tile you have chosen. I'm starting my kitchen re-do next week...yippee!!! Think I will follow you and keep up with all your projects. Hope you have a FUN weekend...don't work too hard!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
Cannot wait to see how the cabinets turn out. I have wanted to paint ours but am afraid to jump in and go for it.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of flooring you got there? Is that a luxury vinyl tile or ceramic? Well -- I am ready to see how all that painting is coming along. I hope your back and arm are holding up. That's a LOT of painting!
ReplyDeleteJust questioning if eBay allows you to market concert tickets on the web? Do you know if you will discover any restrictions depending on what country you're in?
ReplyDeleteMy parents have just called me and asked if i could "get rid" of their two tickets to a concert as they wont have the ability to make it due to yet another family event.
Apart from asking close friends etc, i thought ebay would be an excellent location to sell them.
But whats ebay's policy on selling tickets? Ive heard alot about it on the news but ive forgotten what happened.
and if it matters, the concert is within this coming month
Thanks in advance for the advice.
