Hello Everyone! It’s been a while since my last post. Charlie and I have been busy hitting some indoor yard sales and local auctions this past week and a half. My booth inventory was looking rather sparse but now I have a few pieces to work on.
I buy certain things to restock my booth, but at times I want to keep them for myself and not sell them. Charlie has told me jokingly if I keep something I bought for my booth, I have to let something go from my house. Well not in this case I’m not…..look at this little pig that I bought at an estate auction….
……isn’t he adorable!
He’s a heavy little fellow for being as small as he is.
At the same estate auction, I was the winning bidder of this wooden horse tricycle bicycle.
I’m not sure if it is an antique, but it sure is unique looking.
On another note, we just installed a heat pump in our garage. I can’t tell you how happy I am right now having that. Now, I don’t have to use my gas grill for heat anymore…LOL! I’ve been painting up a storm and have a lot to show you what I’ve been working on.
As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a Blessed day.
Gail

I love your new little piggy, Gail! He's the perfect addition to your fabulous vignette! And, I wish I could adapt the rule of something comes in means something goes out! Congrats on the new heater, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful finds! (I've always loved it when pigs fly. :) I'd like any kind of garage, but a heated garage... what luxury. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing everything you make! You have definitely inspired me to want to put a booth in a store too! But unfortunately the closest one to me is 45 minutes away. I'm still thinking about it though.... keep up the good work!

What a cute little pig, Gail! I love your Antiques framed sign in the background, too. It sounds like you are having fun finding things for your booth. I'll bet it is tough to part with some things though. We put a heater in our garage, too {shortly after moving in}.
ReplyDeleteGail,
ReplyDeleteOkay...now that little piggy is just too darn cute...congrats on the winning bid. I don't have a garage in this house, but silly me, I didn't know that people had heat pumps in them, how nice.
Blessings,
Linda
Gail, what beautiful finds! Of course you had to keep them! :) Heated garage! Very, very nice!
ReplyDeleteYou got some good stuff! I love the pig! Can't wait to see what you have painted.
ReplyDeleteCharlie.... the pig stays.

A heated garage... I've been spray painting in the snow and running it into the house as fast as I can, it's not the best way, but I can't wait for Spring! I love your flying pig and have been looking for one for my Sister. We lost our Mom recently and that was a running joke between them during Hospice. Your horse is perfect up next to your big one and I wouldn't let either go if I was you. Can't wait to see what's been going on in that heated garage of yours!

Hey girl, you've found some really unique little treasures. I love the "when pigs fly", maybe it's original intent was to be a door stopper, they're always heavy.
