Hello Everyone! It’s so hard to believe that Thanksgiving will be here in a couple of days!! I’m sure most of you are like me and have a list of things to do before hand.
In the meantime, I wanted to share with you a cute and inexpensive way I dressed up the extra soap in the guest bathroom for Christmas.
I wrapped the soaps in a brown paper bag and added a Merry Christmas graphic to each one of them. I created an aged look to them by using distress ink and then tied with jute twine. I also made a towel using the same graphic.
I ordered the Merry Christmas graphic from an Etsy shop called Antique Graphique.
Have any of you ever heard of or used Scentsicles?
They smell wonderful! About a week ago, I tucked one of them inside some greens and my guest bathroom still smells like pine!! There are six scented ornaments in one container. I bought my Scentsicles at Michaels and Lowes. However, Lowes has the best price at $2.00.
I’m just about done with Christmas decorating. All I need to do is put the finishing touches here and there.
If by chance I don’t get another post up before Thanksgiving, I would like to thank all of you for being such a wonderful part of my life! And for that I am thankful!!
Gail

Very pretty, Gail! Love that graphic. It all makes for a nice touch of Christmas in the bathroom. I haven't started decorating yet, although I'm itching to! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Gail, what a lovely touch for the guest bath! I haven't seen the Scentsicles...they sound like a wonderful way to discreetly add fragrance to a space. I'm going to look for those here. Thanks for sharing. Wishing you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving!

What a lovely soap display for a guest bath! I love the smell of pine, especially this time of year. I have not heard of these. One year I thought I had heard on QVC about some kind of electric strand of scented ornament lights you could buy that made your artificial tree smell real. Only, I could never find any info about them so I gave up looking and figured I must have dreamed the whole thing up. haha! I will definitely be looking for these scentsicles though! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe soap and towels are so pretty and a lovely touch for the guest bath. I have never heard of scentscicles. I love the scent of pine.

Morning Gail! Just beautiful as always. I've been wanting to try the soap wrappers ever since you posted your soaps with the sheep!! The towel looks perfect with these.
ReplyDeleteI did buy some of the scent sticks and you are right they are a nice subtle scent. I didn't pay $2.00 though...should have gone to Lowes instead of Home Depot!!!lol
