Master Bathroom Reveal

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am that the master bathroom is done!  The changes we made have made the biggest difference.  Before I share it with all of you, lets take a look at the before.

And now the after.

We purchased the vanity cabinet, double sink vanity top, faucets and two lighting fixtures at Lowes.  The oval mirrors were purchased at Wal-Mart.

I used a curtain instead of a shower curtain because I could not find anything I liked.  The window curtain was one panel that I cut in half.

I think what makes the biggest difference in this bathroom has to be the tile behind the tub/shower stall and the flooring.

This was not the original floor we ordered.  We ordered the peel, place and press floating vinyl planks manufactured by Armstrong.  Instead we received the Swift Lock Vinyl Planks by Armstrong.  Installing them was easy and it only took Charlie and I a couple of hours to do.

I still need to hang the towel bar above the vanity stool.

It was a lot of work but I think it was well worth the work!

As always thanks for visiting and for your sweet comments.  They are always appreciated.

  2. Yeaahh it was worth the work, looks wonderful. So are you going in there just to admire it all day long? The vanity, the floor, the tile - go take a bath!

  7. Love the black vanity and mirrors. You are going to rest now-yes?

  8. Oh my, your bathroom is so pretty!

I love your floor! and that little vanity seat is the cutest thing. I've not got my bathroom finished yet... One of my linen closet doors broke-- and it needs to be glued and repainted.
I'm working on the decorating phase right now!

    So pretty!
    Love it!

  9. The floor and tile look great, Gail! I am loving that vanity and the mirrors! I'll bet having two sinks in there now makes quite a difference, too. That was the best change my hubby and I made when we redid our master bathroom in our old house. Thankfully, the master bath in the new place had two sinks {plus some extra room in between}.

  10. WOW! Everything looks great.
    Quite the transformation.

  11. Oh my, it is totally stunning. I love it all. The dark cabinet and the dark contrasts in the fabric and accessories is unreal pretty. Also, I tried to follow you on Networked Blogs, but it says there is an error. Hugs, Marty

  12. Gorgeous! I don't know what my favorite is but I think it's a draw between that beautiful floor and the little chair. I would love to use an antique vanity in my bathroom but I don't see that happening ever as hubby says it won't work...can't he trust my judgment and just go with it? (LOL!)

Ya'll did a beautiful job and I know you will enjoy it for many years.

  13. Beautiful transformation!!

I'm now following you on Linky and I would love it if you could follow me back!

    Have a wonderful evening!

  14. Oh yeah Gail,

  18. It looks wonderful!! Jealous...and wishing I had the motivation to do our bathroom. I've put it off for years--mainly because I have to remove a TON of yucky wallpaper. Ugh!

  19. Your bathroom is so pretty, my friend. I love the dark browns, very nice!
Thanks so much for your encouraging comments on my paint jobs, I really appreciate them.
