I started my Christmas decorating this weekend and I pulled down these old Christmas trees out of the attic. I think I’ve had these poor pitiful trees for about six or seven years maybe longer.
I purchased these pine floral picks at JoAnn’s and added them to the trees.
And now my poor pitiful trees look like this…….
I just love how they turned out and I now have them displayed in my dining room.
The white plate is empty because I have not made my cookies yet.
It’s definitely beginning to look like Christmas in our house.
More Christmas to come from our house to yours. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

The trees look very nice. I did that one year to a regular tree that was slowly falling apart. What is your wall color in that room? Jackie
ReplyDeleteThose look fabulous Gail! I love everything you do and always love stopping by. I think your hutch that I see in the mirror looks like mine...does it?
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to start decorating tomorrow!
Happy Thanksgiving,

Wow, what a fabulous way to update the trees! I have a couple for my front porch that could use some help, thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I started pulling out my decorations, and my hubby said, "No no!" That Scrooge!! ;) Maybe when he goes to work, haha!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see more of your decor!
They looked like brand new trees when you got finished with them! I love how they turned out. Now I need to go find my old, sad trees and see if I can update them.

You did a great job on these!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great, easy idea. I own some pitiful trees myself, that may just get this facelift.

Your decorations look gorgeous. I love how you added some branches to your tired trees to fluff them up and give them new life. You are good, girl!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to fluff up those trees! They look fabulous, as does your tabletop display. I will have to keep that in mind for a small tree we have that needs a bit of love.
ReplyDeleteLove the little x-mas trees. The whole staging looks fantastic.
