Oh how I love this time of year and my home is starting to show it. I’ve been fallin’ things up around here.
About a year ago I purchased this lantern at The Home Good Store and used it at Christmas time last year. After Christmas it sat in the garage waiting for another makeover.
Sometime back, I purchased these woven ball string lights and my plans were to use them under our umbrella on the deck and never did. So they’re being used now only in my lantern.
Not all of them would fit in the lantern, so I pulled some of the balls off and stuffed it in the lantern and added some floral picks.
Now it’s part of my Fall decor and not sitting in the garage waiting for a make-over. It’s in my kitchen sitting on my counter.
I tied some burlap on the side of the handle.
I just love this rooster. I got it in St. Marteen’s when Charlie and I went on a cruise for our one year anniversary nine years ago.
It’s hand carved out of wood.
I’ve even added a little CHOCOLATE to the vignette.
The weather has been absolutely beautiful here in Southern Maryland and I love being able to work in the garage now. I have a lot to blog about with some furniture transformations so be sure to check back.
