When Debbie at Confessions of a Plate Addict shared with us a CUTE and inexpensive way to dress up extra soap for a guest bathroom, I wasted no time….I just had to make some for mine!
She wrapped her soap in Kraft paper as I did but I added a vintage lamb graphic to mine that I found on-line. I created an aged look on my wrapped soap using distress ink and then tied with jute twine.
And while I was at it, I even made a towel using the same vintage lamb graphic.
Thank you Debbie for your inspiration. This definitely is a cute and inexpensive way to dress up those extra bars of soap.
As always, thanks for stopping by and leaving such sweet comments. They always make my day!

absolutely perfect.....would look great in my little country home also.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous idea! I have some that are hand made and I always encourage people to take it home with them, so this would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteLavender also make a huge difference in the soap dish!

What an adorable touch to the bath. The towel is a nice bonus. Great idea with the twine too.
ReplyDeleteGail, they are beautiful. You would pay a fortune for them in a gift shop. xoxo, Olive
ReplyDeleteCutest thing ever. And I'm not an animal person. Not even close. But these soaps make me consider giving it all up for a few acres of country and a barn. Love them.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Gail! I keep thinking I should do something like this with all those soaps my hubby brings home from business trips. For some reason he thinks he's bringing me something I want! : ) I love how you tied the towel into the soaps.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great idea. I love the idea of dressing up soap...especially for a guest bathroom. Thanks for sharing at DIYbyDesign.

ReplyDeleteHow are you? I have been so out of it when it comes to blogs and blogging. I will start up again soon, I'm home, but too tired and have too much to do to get back to it yet.
Have a wonderful week.
