Ghost for the Haunted Ghost Walk

Hello Everyone!  It’s count down time for the big Birthday/Halloween Party for our twin grandsons.  The party is scheduled for this coming Saturday.  They have planned all kinds of fun Halloween kids games, hay rides, and a bon fire with lots of food.  Charlie and I are putting the finishing touches on the creative “scary” things that we have made for the haunted ghost walk that is also planned to take place in the woods behind their house.

My attempt at making “scary” ghost turned out to be anything but scary I think!  In fact, I think they look more like angels than ghosts.

007

I made six of them using a tomato cage, a pumpkin, plastic drop cloth and a round plastic table cover for each one.

001

I connected them so that they are circling around a bonfire made of logs with lights thrown on top.

008

Here’s what they look like at night.

I placed a flashlight under each one so that they will glow.

011

So tell me, do you think they look like ghosts or angels?

This is going to be a busy week as we start clearing out the woods and setting up for this haunted ghost walk.

As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Gail

  1. Gail, you are seriously talented at creating these Halloween party things. First the scary skeletons carrying the coffin and now these ghosts. They are so cool lit up. I would never have thought of that.
    Bravo.

  5. Your ghosts look wonderful, but they ae anything but scary, ummm... I would have to say that they look like angels to me. But, to children, they will look like ghost, I think, not scary ghosts though, you don't want to scare them to death!

Maybe leave the "angels" and put halos on them for Christmas!!!??? You'd be ahead of the Christmas decorating game. . .LOL

  40. For me, that was great, I find them cute instead of scary. I will study on how to make that design and I think that is also suitable for Christmas occasion and can also a home decor. Thank you.
