Placing Flea Market Finds

Hello Everyone!

I have taken some time to place some of the flea markets items that I purchased a few weeks ago.  I placed the wooden dipper, you see below, on the side of our Frigidaire.

011

The side of our frig is one of the first things you see when you enter through the kitchen door.  So I treat it as if it’s a wall.

010

Everything you see on the side is attached with a command strip.  They work great!   I haven’t had any problems yet…knock on wood.

006

I placed one of the crock jugs on a little stool beside the trash can cabinet.

009

The white enamel ware bucket is on a side table in the kitchen.

013

Looking at this picture I think I need to work on this table top vignette! Originally, I had a white pitcher with the berries in it.  I just switched it out.

012

The demijohn and another crock jug ended up on the top of the dining room china cabinet.

I always think it’s fun to see where other people place some of their flea market, yard sales and auctions items…don’t you?

Thanks for your visit and for your sweet comments.  They always make my day!

Gail

  4. Absolutely ~ I love to see where people tuck in their treasures. It sometimes gives me ideas I didn't think of for mine. Smart to treat the side of your refrigerator like a wall, especially since it is the first thing seen.

  9. You've done a great job finding places for your new finds. I love that little white chippy stool in your kitchen too. I use those command strips too. Aren't they just the best invention?!

  10. Oh my gosh, what a lovely idea to use the side of the refrigerator as a short wall. The command strips are also a great idea - should have thought about that one! I use the small ones for keeping wires to the phones, or counter appliances that stay in one place up and out of the way with the smaller ones - aren't those great little gadgets?

Love your placements - everything looks marvelous!

    Blessings,
    Donna
