Today, I thought I would share a few pictures of stools that have come and gone through my booth. Stools are a big seller for me and when I see them, I snatch them up! They can be big or little, wood or metal and the other things is, it doesn’t matter what they look like either. Take this old metal milking stool, for instance.
It was a rusty mess! I removed some of the rust with a wire brush and then I painted it. I made sure that I didn’t paint over all the rust. I left some of it. It sold within days!
This is another metal stool that sold within days. I didn’t do anything to it other than stencil a number 3 on the seat.
The stools that I have pictured below are all stools that I have transformed one way or another and they too have all sold.
I wish I had taken pictures of all the stools that I have sold since I opened up my little booth. Sometimes I forget to take my camera with me when I go to my booth. And on my next visit back when I take my camera, wouldn’t you know it, my stools have been sold. Now that my little booth is stool less, I’m on the hunt for more!
As always, thanks for stopping!
Gail

These are all great stools. Love them. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteLove them all - but especially LOVE the patisserie ones - gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteNot surprises they sell quickly :)

Your knack for refurbishing pieces sure makes you want to take all your items home!
ReplyDeleteLove all the stools, especially the stenciled rooster!
ReplyDeleteGail- I love all those stools. I grew up using one just like the first one for actually milking! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteAll your stools are great, Gail! I love stools myself. I've been 50/50 on my stools. I have one like your little rooster one that I stenciled "French Market" on; still sitting in my booth. You saw the cow one I just did. We'll see how that one does. I've been limiting myself to wood ones with no upholstery now {because of that upholstery law here in Ohio}. My items that sell are so random from week to week, it is hard to get a handle on what sells well yet.
ReplyDeleteThey are all wonderful stools! With your creativity, you've transformed them into treasures.
ReplyDeleteLove the redo on the rusty one. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYour stools are so cute! I am always attracted to them too. Not sure what it is about them, but I like tall ones and short little foot stools too! They're fun to rework and are usually a fairly quick project - love those instant gratification projects! Hope you find some more to work your magic on soon! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteI did not realize that stools were in such demand, yours are very sweet and I'm not surprised that they sold so well. So nice to hear of your success, I'm very happy for you!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cindy
Love these. Would you mind sharing how you got the transfer onto the last 2 sets of stools? I would love to do a set of these for myself.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kate
You have had some really cute stools Gail...glad that they sell so well for ya.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
