Prime Time Kitchen

This little baby has done wonders today.  I’ve primed my kitchen cabinets and let me tell you it has brightened up the kitchen just with primer paint.

Below is a picture of the kitchen before.

Now a picture of the kitchen with primer.  But before you look, please pardon my messy cabinets on the inside.   I’ll clean them before I put the doors back on.

We’re just moving right along with this kitchen remodel.  We’ve selected and have ordered our ceramic tile for the kitchen floor.  It should be in next Tuesday.  Below is a picture of the tile we’ve chosen.

We haven’t made a final decision on the counter top just yet.  Not sure if we’re going with granite or quartz.  Will probably make a decision on that in the next week or so.

You know what I’ll be doing tomorrow…….

  1. Gail,
My husband is priming our kitchen cabinets as I write this! We are in the same boat. We are doing an unplanned kitchen remodel because of our pipes busting a few weeks ago. Now I am excited about it because I'm getting new cabinets, dishwasher, window and cabinet lighting!
I'll be posting pictures of the progress soon.
    Blessings,

  7. The project is really coming along. I'm liking the white cabinets and your tile floor selection. Don't worry about cleaning out the cabinets...just put the doors back on and we'll never know!!!
    I love watching the progress.

  9. Your kitchen looks great! You are right, even just the primer really lightens things up! I would love to paint my cabinets. However, our counter tops are a dark green (compliments of the previous owners). So it would look all wrong.
    Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne

Ps. I was curious if you would ever create and sell a stencil, from your Cricut?! :o)

  17. I am so in the need of doing this in my kitchen. My project is a bit different and needs carpentry to make the door look more country instead of contemporary. Because I don't do carpentry and need my hubby for that part, I'm on hold. Yours photo change is amazing. I hope you have many days of enjoyment in your new surroundings! Great job. 23. What kind of flooring you got there? Is that a luxury vinyl tile or ceramic? Well -- I am ready to see how all that painting is coming along. I hope your back and arm are holding up. That's a LOT of painting!

  24. Just questioning if eBay allows you to market concert tickets on the web? Do you know if you will discover any restrictions depending on what country you're in?

My parents have just called me and asked if i could "get rid" of their two tickets to a concert as they wont have the ability to make it due to yet another family event.

Apart from asking close friends etc, i thought ebay would be an excellent location to sell them.

But whats ebay's policy on selling tickets? Ive heard alot about it on the news but ive forgotten what happened.

and if it matters, the concert is within this coming month

Thanks in advance for the advice.
