The Procrastinators Party is in My Kitchen

 

Melissa at The Inspired Room is hosting a Procrastinator Party and boy do I need this party. 

My kitchen desperately needs an update.   I know that I will not be able to complete it in the next two weeks but at least it will be a start and hopefully I will complete it  by Thanksgiving.

This is our kitchen now.

My plans are to: 

• Add crown molding at top of cabinets
• Install glass doors on top cabinets (at least five of them)
• Paint cabinets white
• Add hardware to cabinets
• New counter tops
• New sink
• New facet
• New tile floor

The picture below is an area that  is completely wasted space in my kitchen.  I have never liked it so my plans are to add a kitchen island with white shelving above the island.
