Happy Spring Wreath

Hello Everyone!   Today, Gina at Random Thoughts is hosting the Spring’tacular Craft Link Party Parade and I thought I would join in on the fun.

My kitchen door has been “naked” since Christmas.  Well, it’s not “naked” any more.  I made a Happy Spring Wreath for it.

This was one of the fastest and easiest craft projects I think I have done in a long time.  It took me a total of 15 minutes to whip this thing together and most of that time was waiting for the twig wreath to dry after I spray painted it.

I have had three projects going on at one time today. This pile of scrap lumber was the biggest project of the day!

I’m happy to say that it’s done!  All I have left to do is apply one more coat of ASCP and wax it.  I can’t wait to share it with all of you.  It looks exactly how I envisioned it.

As always, thanks for your visit and your sweet comments.  They are always appreciated.

Happy Spring,

  1. You are a busy little bee. I love your SPring Wreath on your door. I must get busy and make one too.

  2. Love how you painted the wreath green...really spring-y!

  3. Isn't it fun when we can whip up projects so fast.
Your wreathe is cute. Love the spring sign.

  4. Love it, Gail! It's simple but makes a nice statement on your door!

  5. Nice wreath! I like how you thought to spray paint it. LOVE spray painting! It gives new life to ordinary stuff. I wish I were able to "whip things up", and glad you can... perhaps I'm an "over thinker" :)
    Thanks for sharing your idea.

  6. You are teasing again!!! But the wreath is pretty cute.

  7. What a pretty wreath! Super idea to spray paint it. The little nest & chalkboard are sweet little touches. I may need to steal this idea!

Thanks for sharing this at my party!

  8. Pretty wreath Gail! Can't wait to see what else your up to!

  9. Very cute wreath! I really love green and this one is right up my alley!

  10. I love the wreath! It's lovely, now what are you making with the scrap lumber? I can't wait to see it!
    Hugs, Cindy

  11. It is really pretty, Gail. The detailing creeping up makes me think of spring growth emerging.

  12. Hi Gail,
It's always fun to visit here and see what you are creating. I love your wreath and come to think of it my door is naked too.

  13. Handmade clothes, accessories, and home decors always manage to stand out the crowd of thousands of conventional beautiful things that your sight can catch. Talking about Saga World Dubai, it is a hub of world class handicraft and that too which are unique and antique in nature. Bring home the best variety of some awesomely hand woven material that will make your peers envy your style.

  14. So glad your door isn't naked any longer! Love your wreath and can't wait to see your project completed.
    Blessings, Audrey
