Happy Spring Wreath

Hello Everyone!   Today, Gina at Random Thoughts is hosting the Spring’tacular Craft Link Party Parade and I thought I would join in on the fun.

My kitchen door has been “naked” since Christmas.  Well, it’s not “naked” any more.  I made a Happy Spring Wreath for it.

014

This was one of the fastest and easiest craft projects I think I have done in a long time.  It took me a total of 15 minutes to whip this thing together and most of that time was waiting for the twig wreath to dry after I spray painted it.

020

I have had three projects going on at one time today. This pile of scrap lumber was the biggest project of the day!

002

I’m happy to say that it’s done!  All I have left to do is apply one more coat of ASCP and wax it.  I can’t wait to share it with all of you.  It looks exactly how I envisioned it.

As always, thanks for your visit and your sweet comments.  They are always appreciated.

Happy Spring,

Gail

  5. Nice wreath! I like how you thought to spray paint it. LOVE spray painting! It gives new life to ordinary stuff. I wish I were able to "whip things up", and glad you can... perhaps I'm an "over thinker" :)
    Thanks for sharing your idea.
