Hello everyone! I’ve been flip flopping quite a bit on whether to paint my front porch wicker furniture. Well, I’ve decided I’m going to keep it white. My plans were to paint it yellow but the more I thought about it, I really like the worn chippy look of the white.
Instead, I’m going to simply freshen up the wicker furniture with fabrics.
I’m going to make new cushions and pillows using fabric I just purchased at Hancock’s Fabric. I love this color combination. I can’t wait to get started on my sewing!
Easter is a time for sharing blessings. Thank you for the blessing of our friendship and I hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

Gail, I think that is a great idea. I too like the worn chippy look. Heck that is why I distress furniture to achieve it. The fabrics are gorgeous, can't wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're keeping it white, I love the look of it just the way it is. It'll look great with the new cushions covered in that lovely fabric. You will have your color, that you were wanting, with those.

ReplyDeleteGreat decision to go with the fabrics. Yellow furniture would be pretty, but wouldn't be as versatile! Can't wait to it all prettied up!
ReplyDeleteI like the chippy look but I think your materials would look terrific.
