Hello everyone! How was your Labor Day Weekend? Ours was busy! Lauren and Jordan both came home for the holiday weekend and it was so nice having them home. We had a family gathering on Saturday and everyone was excited to see Jordan as this was his first trip back home since returning from Afghanistan.
I received such a nice compliment from a family member on Saturday. She loved both our guestrooms and felt like she was at a Bed and Breakfast Inn. Now that made me feel proud!
And to think that both of these guestrooms were all trash to treasure finds that were completely transformed. You can read about each room here and here.
Also to let you know, Lauren LOVED the Vintage Inspired bedroom which is now a guestroom for her.
As always, thanks for stopping and enjoy your day.
Gail

ReplyDeleteHello Gail, I just happened to find your blog and must tell you it is a joy looking at your decorating skills. I looked at several of your posts and love the transformations you have accomplished. The guest rooms are gorgeous and look very comfy. I will visit again to see what you do next. Shannon

ReplyDeleteI knew Lauren would love her old bedroom! You are a really good decorator, my friend, I can easily see why your family member gave you such a sweet compliment. It looks nicer than some b & b's I have been in.

Oh my!!! I LOVE the mantle headboard! What an AWESOME idea!!!
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the crowd that loves the look of your mantel used as a headboard. I'm doing this in a guestroom remodel ... our mantel is original to the house and there's still a fireplace still behind it. :)
ReplyDeleteI can see why she said that your place feels like a Bed and Breakfast ... it sure feels like that to me.
Gorgeous rooms! Love the mantle/headboard a lot!
